Like much of porn, especially the generic projects, DELIVERIES IN THE REAR broadcasts in its title what you get. However, it is not 100% anal sex, but delivered often enough to have kept video fans aroused way back when.

Kevin James, a porno comic before the real Kevin James's TV career started, plays Dr. Labia, a columnist who specializes in anal sex advice. Farcical screenplay has Kevin convincing his friend Billy Joe Fields (playing himself per the credits, whatever that means) to impersonate him, as apparently he's getting too much action.

Very sloppily made video, the work of underachieving director Drea, has more goofs than usual for the genre: director heard issuing instructions to Billy Joe during his scene, sotto voce; a dumb subplot of finagling to get editor Brad Palmer beaten up, but that scene only takes place off-screen, plus several crucial sex scenes in which the expected Hershey Highway action doesn't occur. To say a good cast is wasted would be redundant -that seems to be S.O.P. for video porn in the '80s.
