Fall of Cybertron is everything us fans hoped to be that we didn't get in War for Cybertron. Colorful characters, devastating weapons, and an awesome story. This game improves so much from its predecessor that one has to wonder why we even played the first game to begin with.

Most of the original robots do appear but some have small cameos and aren't playable. However High Moon Studios gives us characters that we could only hope to play as. Grimlock, Soundwave and even the Combaticon Bruticus is playable in some levels. However like most games it does have it's problems

Your health system will drain considerably during a fight, there is no cover oddly in a third person-shooter cover game, and combat is somewhat not as effective as before.

But Fall of Cybertron is everything we want and more from transformers so I highly recommend it next time you visit a store

Yeah I'm a Transformers fan, and I've played the first game and I'm proud to say a bolt of energon stuck twice, which also makes these licensed Transformers games an official as well as memorable franchise, which is something that doesn't happen often with most licensed video games.

As much as I liked the first game, I really liked this second one a bit more because there were some slight improvements. I really love the graphical presentation which looks even better than the first game, from the details of Cybertron but most importantly the character models. The color, physical features, to even some show of some wear on both Autobots and Decpetcons like seeing the paint on a few of them looking a bit faded; which I like because it gives the robots a slightly grounded sensibility. Also looking at them once again I can't help but wonder why the heck couldn't the robots in the Live Action films look as good as this. Music is great there is a memorable tune or two.

The voice acting as usual is spot on from Peter Cullen whom as usual is excellent as Optimus Prime. Steven Blum is excellent as Shock Wave has that chilling cold calculating voice, to me Shock Wave was always like a evil Vulcan; though he didn't do the voice of Starscream in this game which I thought was too bad since he did it in the "Transformers Prime" TV show but oh well. Nolan North is solid as Cliffjumper and on further note he also voice acted for "Transformers Prime" as Autobot Sideswipe. Troy Baker was fantastic as Jazz, that voice was just so spot on he really did sound like Scatman Curuthers. And the rest were great too, did like the actors that voice Megatron and Starscream they really sounded like Frank Welker and Chris Latta though they weren't.

The story I thought was great, once again it's a mystery it's a different kinda of intrigue because we already know the ending but the question is about the how. We see a little more of the last days of the war on Cybertron. How much damage the Decepticons dealt to put both the Autobots and the planet in the bad state it's in. And what the Autobots had to do to get their long mission started.

But most important is the game play which I thought was excellent. I like that you get to switch hands for your weapons, which really works to your advantage as you can utilize your positioning of fire much better. There is still the RPG like element where primary and heavy weapon you hold you can upgrade. And like in the first game you get in sections to play on both teams as different Autobots and Decepticons.

However one thing that really stands out and I feel slightly improves on the original game is each of the chapters that you play though are truly a different challenge, and in each of these challenge you get to utilize the assigned abilities of each of the characters. Which to me keep the game fresh and really causes you to adapt to the situations as well as utilize different tactics to win.

Overall, if your a Transformers fan or rookie to the franchise. Or even just a gamer looking for a really good licensed video game then this is the game worth rolling toward. This game has enough energon and ammo for fun.

if you are a TF fan like me you may have been a little miffed with the film and game outings. that is until you play transformers:war for cybertron not only a good game but it helped wash away the bad taste in your mouth. now fall of cybertron is out and it blows away expectations on what a good transformers game is. the story mode unfolds like a movie things such as playing optimus prime getting knocked down by a leaper and trying to kill him before he destroys your troops. each chapter in story shows off what an transformer like soundwave or jazz can do each have a ability only they have in the game. this is hands down one of the best 3rd person shooters that i have played in a long time and the scale of this world is massive. this game also has a robust online mode and coop mode the ability to make your own transformer is amazing and a lot of time can be spent finely tuning them. this game is awesome not only for TF nerds but fans of shooters in general. some issues like pop-ins and some glitches happen but not so much that you will stop playing

After the success of Transformers War For Cybertron it was only a matter of time before a sequel was to be made and trust me as a huge Transformers Fan this is far from a disappointment.

Transformers Fall Of Cybertron picks up right after War For Cybertron you start off on board the Autobots ship called The Ark as you escape Cybertron however The Decepticons with the Nemesis Ship attack the Ark.

The game then takes you back days before where The Autobots and their leader Optimus Prime struggle for survival as they build the Ark and search for supplies before launching.

The Decepticons lead by the evil Megatron have other plans.

With Fall Of Cybertron they added many characters that we didn't get in the first game.

The New Autobots are Jazz, Clifjumper, Metroplex, Grimlock and the Dinobots while the Decepticons are Onslaught, Swindle, Brawl, Blast Off and Vortex The Combaticons who can combine into Bruticus a playable character and I can say I am thrill with that since the Combaticons are my favorite combiner team of the Decepticons, Shockwave appears in the game as well.

Grimlock stage is pretty awesome who doesn't want to smash things as King Grimlock? This game was clearly done by fans of Transformers because the time and effect that went into this game beyond good beyond evil beyond your wildest imagination the crew on the game did a superior job with making this a game done by fans for fans Of The Transformers.

You get many of your favorites back like Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Soundwave, Ironhide, Starscream, Warpath, and many more.

The game graphics are top notch the effects are awesome and sparks fly off the Transformers in battle.

The voice is amazing with a lot of the cast from the first game returning for the sequel and everyone brought their A Game for this game which is awesome to show the time and respect for those who love Transformers.

Plus the game has countless references to the G1 Transformers which shows respect to the series that started it all Gameplay is as much epic as the first game and should come to no surprise that it is a game you can't put down.

Yes this is the right way to make a sequel to a superior game based on a legend.

Overall I give Transformers Fall Of Cybertron an 9 out of 10 Til All Are One Autobots Transform and Roll Out! Decepticons Attack!
