Cassy is a hot new indie film director with an inflated ego and a aggressive libido. When she hires Lauren, a smart and experienced theater director, as her assistant director, sparks fly. Although Lauren may not have an ounce of film experience, she knows how to tell a story -- a skill her director hasn't quite perfected. As the director and her A.D. find a creative balance together, both the film and the budding romance begin to show great potential.

What a blast! I had a chance to see this film at the village in Hollywood and it was a lot of fun! I have no idea why the one reviewer says it terrible or that it was not about the real movie business. I don't agree. Is there only one way the business works? A real industry expert would say no. Plus, it's a comedy, so lighten up! I wasn't sure if I'd like it but it was great. One of the best low budget indies I've seen in a while and definitely one of the best lesbian films around. I took my brother with me who is straight and he laughed his ass off, so it's a movie for anyone. If you get a chance to see this film, don't miss it. It is unpretentious, fun and the lead performances are wonderful!

This film was soooo fun! I saw it at Outfest last year and have been dying for my friends who missed out to see it!!! Listen all!!! I really enjoyed this movie! It didn't need special effects, or big stars, it was just a fun film about falling in love, however inconvenient that may be! It was set in Hollywood, but wasn't even really about that! I also found it refreshing that it was not about Gay issues but was a simple lesbian love story! I also got to hear the filmmakers talk after the screening! They were funny and made it so worth it! This was a sweet, sincere, low-budget film!

I thought it was a pretty cool film. I like things having to do with filmmaking. I laughed a bit, never cried. I've seen it twice because it was a pretty cool film. That's all I really have to say about Outtakes except I did like the Outtakes at the end.

i saw Outtakes at the San Fran festival and talked to the filmmakers afterwards. I really like the actress who plays Cassy. She's really hot. i saw that it said Kate Hill but isn't it Katherine Brooks? I had a lot of fun watching it and laughed a lot. Its nice to see a movie thats not so serious. i thought the writing was kick ass too.

OUTTAKES could perhaps be one of the most self-absorbed, most poorly-realised films I have ever seen. The lead actors are absolutely pathetic in their deliveries of even more pathetically written lines, and the film's depiction not only of filmmaking, but of ANY faction of gay lifestyle is a joke -- and I'm being kind. Be afraid, my friend, be very, very afraid.

I really believed the character as being a cassanova of lesbians. Great direction but poorly edited. I heard the budget for this film was $10,000 so I was totally amazed and impressed. A real look at what happens between a strait woman and a lesbian.
