Short summary
A beany-capped, wise-cracking crow invades a corn field owned by an elderly farmer. The farmer unsuccessfully attempts to kill the crow by using a gun, an axe, and a cannon.
The music heard during the cannonball gag was featured on the album "The Carl Stalling Project: Music From Warner Bros. Cartoons 1936-1958". It is part of the "Powerhouse and Other Cuts from the Early 50's" track, although an alternate take not used in the final cartoon was heard.
