A story about the friendship between a boy and his pet goldfish.

A lonely boy finds friendship in a goldfish that he purchases at a local pet store, the two are inseparable and share a unique bond with each other, then at the height of their happiness the goldfish mysteriously dies. He is now forced with the decision to either face the reality of the situation, or remain inside the dreamworld he has built for himself.

The script was only 1/2 page long, the original concept came when the director wrote a eulogy for one of his dead fish, then he thought the tragedy of the situation would carry well to a short film, so he created a screenplay and kept the original eulogy for the end scene when the movie fish dies.

The fish is named fish #4 because it was the writer/director's fourth fish to be added to his personal fish tank.

The fish was not harmed or killed in production of the movie.
