Short summary
While the mass search gets nowhere and the police takes Vademecus in for questioning, Dagmar hears Billie crying from a deep pit in the woods. He rescues her using his wings and arranges for Wiki to find her on the surface. Wiki tells Maud her latest blackmail completely turn him off, destroying his illusion she could ever love him.
