Created as an entry for the 2012 Campus MovieFest event at Fitchburg State University, where it won Best Comedy.

After the movie was screened at the 2012 Campus MovieFest national competition in Hollywood, the hosts of the screening asked if the filmmakers were in the audience, "because we have a lot of questions." Directors Marsden Licea-Kane and Ian Vincent did not attend the national competition, but the crew of The Juniper Tree (2012), also from Fitchburg State University and friends of the duo, were in the audience and considered answering questions on behalf of a film they had nothing to do with.
