Short summary
When Detroit gangsters discover William Wallace is hiding liquor for their rival, bootlegger Jack Kennedy, they decide to teach him a lesson about loyalty and kidnap his girlfriend.
Filled with vibrant characters from Prohibition Toledo and inspired by a true story, William Wallace stashes illegal liquor for rival sides- bootlegger and hometown hero Jack Kennedy and the dreaded Licavoli Gang. When gangsters discover Wallace is playing both sides, they decide to teach him a lesson and hold his girlfriend Kitty for ransom. But, Wallace is in no hurry to pick up his exhausting doll, the gangsters are near their wit's end from Kitty's antics and it's up to a fearless Kitty to rescue herself.
William Wallace is the great uncle of the writers and the story was passed down through their family over the years.
