One of the college janitors helps John with his girlfriend problems. Once John decides not to take the first piece of advise the janitor tells him, a few surprising and abnormal events take place.

The film 'The Awakening' is about a homeless Iranians, who find randomly on the street a mobile phone. When he wants to sell the phone, he found videos of protesters in Iran that have been taken with it. He keeps the phone and is in conflict falls into diligently, that he knew of everything that has happened in his country nothing. The homeless man is symbolic of all the people who were expelled from their country and have found in their new society no identity for themselves.
