One day in Hollywood, Sharky Showbiz searches for a new superstar, so he calls up the Cahuenga Cowboy to get backup that will welcome and process the cattle call of hopeful entertainers that will turn up for the event... enter the Red Jacket Dudes, a group of audience processors, each unique and quirky in their own way who greet the crowd of aspiring entertainers, all who have quirks of their own.
This short film was made by several former CBS studio pages who paged at CBS Television City in Hollywood between the years of 2006-2008. In a way, it's sort of a mockumentary of what it's like being a studio page and processing/greeting an audience or "cattle call" such as the different array of people and their personalities waiting in line to see a live taping of "The Price Is Right" and the different personalities of pages who process and greet them. The Red Jacket Dudes got its name from sharing the same type of jackets used by CBS pages...red jackets.
