Short summary

Brian and his rising younger challenger Brandon have agreed a list of ten hottest guys and a bet: if Brandon has sex with them all first, his ban from Babylon is lifted, if Brian 'gets in' first, he may penetrate Brandon. While Mikey is disgusted at Brian's rudeness and welcomes Justin in their new home, Ben remains depressed by the departure of Hunter, and finally gets more news, but not from him. During the gay rights defense campaign against Proposition 14, Mel and Linz try to get along in one home again, and Justin faces harsh opposition: his own father, businessman Craig, personally orders the 'strayed' boy arrested. Deb was furious at Carl for failing to take Emmet's 'phone stalker' serious, but the mystery caller makes a live appearance: it's Drew, he got black-mailed by a paparazzo who found out he's a closet queer, told his wife Sierra, who left Drew, who is now followed by the press; Em makes him reconsider if suing is the answer: only coming out can truly free him. I really enjoyed this episode. I have no idea why people say that the show went down at the end. It is so close to finale and I think the episodes are just as strong as ever.

My favorite of this episode is the story of Drew. I am happy to see him back, it is also an incredibly interesting idea. I loved to see him finally admitting to himself that he is gay. Him and Emmett are really good on screen together.

Brian and Brandon's bet was just as fun as in the previous episode and I was very satisfied with the outcome. While I am not someone who believes that after a certain age people should stop having fun and go clubbing I did like the conversation Lindsay had with Brian about letting go of the past.

Great to see a notice from Hunter, it finally will make Ben feel better. One could see him struggle all this time, Robert Gant is absolutely amazing. Also it gives one hope to see Hunter again.

Episode 508 "I know you're there! I can hear your sinus condition!" ~Emmett

I still haven't gotten over Ted's breakup with Troy. I don't know what it was about that character exactly, but I really liked the two of them together. Despite their history, the two of them seemed to really connect. It was a welcome surprise to see Drew finally back, and Brian and Brandon's little contest was quite amusing. The writing in this series is just as powerful as ever when Justin's father turns out to be one of the supporters of Proposition 14. The best scene of the episode was probably the one between Brandon and Brian, in his bedroom after he won the contest. Brandon is all ready for Brian, but Brian turns him away. Brandon says that some day he will crush him. The words, dialogue, and acting were what make this episode quite a treasure.
