SAIGON 1973. A young man's heart is breaking as he discovers his childhood love, the girl he grew up with, raped and murdered. He makes a fateful resolve to avenge her loss, thereby igniting a forty-year odyssey of revenge and death, which ends a continent away in a final climactic confrontation.

Master Adam began teaching in his native Vietnam in 1967. He escaped before the fall of Saigon. Years later, he settled in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and began what has become a more than 20-year relationship with Wareing's Gym, where he instructs and certifies others to teach yoga.

In Eyes of the Roshi, Adam Nguyen not only plays the Roshi, but is an actual Grandmaster of Karate-Do and Yoga.

Eyes of the Roshi actually has two Grandmasters in the cast; Grandmaster Adam Nguyen, and his friend, Grandmaster Hoy Lee.
