What can go wrong when a desperate man's brother decides to rob a convenience store that's going out of business? Turns out a lot.

Originally set in a liquor store which is going out of business, the location was later changed and re-written to accommodate locally owned coffee shop for convenience to the cast and crew.

With the original film date being set for July 16th, 2017 and an August 4th, 2017 release date, the director, and initial producer had a conflict involving creative differences which ultimately led to the producer being dropped on July 11th, 2017 and production halted. One day later on July 12th, the director found an entirely new producer and crew along with a new director of photography, assistant director, and lead actor all of whom left with the original producer. Production resumed with an extended script and a later release date of September 1st, 2017 and two new filming dates scheduled for August 13th and 20th. Almost one month after the original dates.

There are two sequels already in the story and script process. The second, titled "The Ride" and the third titled "The Family" will take place immediately after on another.

After being given the release date of September 1st 2017, it was later confirmed to have been pushed back to September 15th 2017 to allow for more promotional time.
