The Same Hindu Muslim Fight !!!! Why Aparna Di ??? is there any less topics around us ? Pick something from History . Do something new Yaar . Why do I dislike this film ? There are several reasons .... First of all Why everybody rhyming on everything ? Is a poem ceremony ? Parents quarreling - Rhyming Gangstars fighting - after rhyming . Someone killed - they rhyme . Why ? Secondly Since the Girl's father has a mobile (touch screen) then its mostly new generation . Then why do they need to communicate through papers and people ? Chat it up . Facebook it . WTH !!! Why the priest have to wear the Namaboli all the time ? His temple is on fire and he still trying to wear the Ramabali properly . These non sense direction leads our Bengali cinemas to Drain . Come on Grow up .

The film is a contemporary adaptation of one of the Shakespeare classic Romeo and Juliet starring with Dev, Roopa Ganguly, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, Kaushik Sen, Shankar Chakraborty and a fresh talent in recent Tollywood Rittika Sen. After Ray's Goopi Gayen Bagha Bayen series this is probably the first bengali movie scripted in rhyme. Aparna Sen could claim the credit, but sometimes it seemed that the rhymed dialogues were dragging the actors. Two Sens and Ganguly yet managed to draw the public attention, however, Dev, Jishu couldn't give their potential. The utilisation of Parbathy Baul songs are beautiful, but the fighting scenes played out through martial dance sequence will make you confuse as you will leave the show if you've watched a Shakespearean drama or a musical or an absurd play. DOP Shirsha Ray did a great job, Debojyoti Mishra in music was good. But at the end of the day, this is obviously not a must watch movie, but you can watch this for its different kind of approach and to understand that movies can also be made this way.
