During the movie the name of the German town in which the movie is set never was mentioned. But the emergency truck in which Morgan is driving in has the logo of "Krankentransport Ost/West", a hospital transport company from Leipzig, the town the movie is filmed. Also the posters for the Leipzig Comedy Fair (Leipziger Lachmesse) can be seen in some shots in the city, noticeable by the big L, formed to a smile.
Pinky's school is the Robert-Schumann High school in Leipzig, which already exist since 1900s as a region school with the main subjects for cooking and gardening. After it was a primary school it became a middle school in the 1950s and a high school in 1990.
