Eefje Verburg runs a laundromat with her mother Metty and her brother Mees called Laundromat The Watering. Along with her friends and fellow co-workers Ronnie and Timothy she tries to get through everyday life by helping customers and making sure the business keeps running smoothly while meeting new people and finding true love in the form of her close friend Javi.

The entire pilot was shot in three days.

A scene that takes place in the bus where Eefje discusses with her friend Sjaantje on how she should tackle certain complications around the guys at work and her own boyfriend Javi was canceled due to time constraints. This also meant that the character of Sjaantje did not appear at all in the pilot because this was her only scene.
