Short summary
Hitchhikers, weirdos and zombies. Nails, chain saws and shears. A broken bottle to the face. Good times!
A young man wakes up at a crossroad. Stuck in his forehead is a nail. He knows nothing of how he arrived save for a few shocking and violent memories. He hitchhikes and is picked up by a driver who turns out to be stranger than the weirdos still pursuing him... It's just as well he's got that chain saw then. Better hope it still works.
All the fights scenes, gore and action was improvised and executed on the day. The filmmakers often used equipment and utensils found at locations, such as wooden stakes, gardening shears and a beer bottle in a particularly effective and bloody "bottle stomp".
