Although no one was actually able to receive the broadcast (the number of TVs in Denmark in 1948 was approximately zero), this 8 ½ minute broadcast from 19 September 1948 is considered the first Danish television broadcast ever. It was broadcast from a television exhibition at Tivoli in Copenhagen, with the help of British technicians.
