Short summary

A gangster's wife, fearful that he is about to be murdered by his rivals, tips off the police to his whereabouts in order to save his life. Her husband, however, believes her reason was that she wanted him out of the way so she could have his best friend.

Mark Linder's play The Squealer opened on Broadway at the Forrest Theatre on November 12, 1928. It closed in January, 1929, after 64 performances. The cast included Victor Adams, Robert Bentley, Dorothy Brown, Tom Fadden, William Jeffrey, Lois Jessen, George Neville, Ruth Shepley and Soo Yong.
