In October 2016, Bob's Mother was injured when a stray bullet hit her car while driving in Atlanta.
After recording the TV show "RuPaul's Drag Race" contestants weren't allowed to talk about it until it was officially announced. Bob told everyone he had been on a lengthy cruise.
