I honestly think this could have been a much better movie. One of the major flaws is the male lead. Also the fact that his ridiculous videos could actually make him famous is just beyond stupid. The only decent thing about this movie was the new actress Ema Horvath. In my opinion i thought she did a very good job and basically carried this film on her shoulders. So for that i give it 3 stars. If it wasn't for the awful male lead and the terrible, flawed plot. This could have been a decent movie.

If you have a chance to watch this movie and its free, sure why not. But i wouldn't even bother going to a redbox to spend a dollar on this garbage.

Like. Share. Follow was much better then I expected. The dim starts out a bit slow but picks up speed at about the 20 minute mark. Garrett is a YouTube star with his Friday night show which is about his life and antics assisted by a couple of friends.

He is very popular and has many viewers. He has a self imposed rule of not getting emotionally involved with any of his 2,000,000 viewers but one girl seems Insistent on meeting him and will do anything at any cost to do so.

Avoiding spoilers at this point, let's just say it's not an original theme and has been done before in the fashion of "Fatal attraction", the king of all stalker films. With that said, however, this film is better then most and keeps you interested throughout. It has some very creepy scenes and the acting is very good. The elements of the plot are simple enough but done without going over the top and without gratuitous violence.

There is a great twist at the end as well. Enough said.

I recommend this film to any fan of the thriller and stalker sub genre....7/10.

Like.Share.Follow was an all around solid thriller... though the guy's YouTube videos sucked it was the least important part of the plot. I feel like this is rated so poorly, because of the way that it ends; however, I feel like content-wise this movie had me on the edge of my seat through the climax.

I feel like this has a great moral to the story of not knowing who exactly you are sharing with when you share online, especially when most of the people you share with are completely anonymous. Don't let its poor rating on here detour you from the film, give it a chance and see what you think.

It kind of reminds me of Amber Alert how it really seems to have a bad rating due to the fact that mostly they tried to make this feel almost TOO real and it seems to devoid a little bit from the "movie" style feel that most may know and love. Don't get me wrong it is still very movie- esque in filming and plot, but it really does have a very... almost eerily real feel to it.

It's somewhat predictable it's low budget, it's fairly predictable. Typical obsessed fan stuff like Swimfan or any other similar movie. What I did like about this is the acting. Ema Horvath was quite good as She'll seeming like a deeply troubled stalker. Kieynan Lonsdale was pretty good at times too. I'm giving it a 7 based on the decent acting of Horvath and Lonsdale but I have to detract some because the adults are less believable. If you're just looking for some generic entertainment with some better acting amongst the younger starts it's worth a watch. Could have found worse ways to spend a late Halloween night,

This movie definitely takes its theme from a fatal attraction type of vibe but it's not very good. You tube star Garrett is stalked by Fan girl. He meets Shell has a one night stand only to find out, she is really fangirl. She breaks into his house, drugs him, keeps sending texts. Then it gets serious when she sets an arrow to fire when Garrett's door opens and kills a cop instead of Garrett. Garrett learns she was in a psyche ward for a hit and run on an ex, may have killed a girl he was talking to, and quite possibly offed a 6 year mail employee for the job so she could meet Garrett.

Garrett goes to a secluded cabin to hide from her but using old videos, she figures out where he is hiding with his friend. She shows up, his friend bails, they have a fight, Garrett gets stabbed but she's the one who dies.

Then the twist, some girl shows up to rescue him. Problem she's also a weirdo stalker fan and has intentions of keeping him to herself. NO hospital.

FINAL VERDICT: A thriller for the electronically obsessed. A very bad imitation of a stalker movie. Not worth checking out.

Flamboyant man has a YouTube channel where he has 2 million followers and can talk to them all at once via video chat (error sound) and one of his fans stalks him by moving close to him, pretending to meet, then revealing her onlined identity after a night of sex. Then he freaks out thatf she stalked him and doesn't wanna see her, only shes still stalking him and killing any girl he talks to.

In a way, it's a doone to death plot, just implementing it into an online .... no, actually it's been done before and much better. It may play a movie and not something like "Unfriended" but the big problem is, the online celebrity thung he's supposed to be is unrealistic and laughable, and I just don't care about his character enough to care what the outcome turns out to be. It's too predictable and boring, and hard to stay focused on having felt I've seen this sort of thing done a million times already and this is not going to be anything worthy of upping the game on it. Iys just a typical play it safe plot with no thought put into making it interesting or leaving it's mark on these kind of films.

I couldn't stop laughing at the total fear in the thought of men having hand to hand combat with a petite 100 pound girl that looked more like the kid in The Bad Seed than anything very sinister. Particularly since she spent her private time crying and rolling around in agony. This story has been told before with a little spin to update it, Garrett is a YouTube 'star' with a lot of followers. I guess the moral could be beware of social media or being famous. Nice little spin at the end also a rip off of Stephen King's Misery. Nothing new here. Overall pretty much a Lifetime television movie.

Seriously, did the people who gave it more than 6 stars actually watched another movie, or is it their first one? I am not going to go into great detail, watch it for yourself, but I can only advise you to find a better movie, this is not worth it even for free! This was a poorly done cyber/stalking thriller/horror. In every aspect. The plot was not very original, although the premise was decent. But everything was badly executed to an extent which ruined the few scattered positives. The screenplay was hilariously bad, written by a 14-year old. The guy playing the cop cannot be a professional actor, he was comical. The male lead actually tried, but as I said, the words they put in his mouth were so wooden and stereotypical, that I felt completely emotionally detached from him. Ema Horvath actually impressed me for a while, but even her character was butchered by the mediocre directing and screenplay. At the end, after the "twist", I was bored out of my skull. The actions of the people involved were so devoid of any logic or reality that even a teen horror flick could not copy that. Like not having a police protection even after a murderer is stalking you? Or going to a house you specifically described in a video, including how to find it? This mess actually has some comedy value, that's how abhorrent it is. But seriously, 15-year olds, go watch some more movies, and then rate this one again. 5.2 is far too generous. And this is coming from an avid horror fan who always believes moves deserve higher praise than they get in general, particularly horrors. But this one cannot be salvaged.

I read a few reviews on here and was in two minds about watching this but had a spare few hours so sat down with my wife and watched it thinking it might not be on long as we would switch if off if it was rubbish...

But Its actually a decent movie with some good tension and its a lot better than I thought it would be. I have seen some movies recently with loads of hype and great reviews that were terrible so it good to see a movie that is getting average reviews and I personally had not heard of being such a surprise.

I think Ema Horvath played a great part as Shell in the movie and the whole movie was certainly entertaining with a good ending and well worth watching. Don't believe reviews (even this one) just watch it yourself and see

    You might be surprised....

The first 1 hour of the movie are horrible, the acting is bad, the scenery is bad, it is slow filled with useless sex scenes, dirty language, monotony and that is the downfall of this movie. The last half an hour is good, with very good tension, pace building and a twisted ending which I did not expect. 5/10

Its a decently acted stalking genre film , ema hovarth at her best . even I visited her profile after watching the movie. This movie is better than crush . The male lead and other supporting actors have done the best job. Over all worth a watched . So far I watched it thrice. Don't go for the poor rating .

Okay, we have all started watching a movie that was so terrible that we shut it off. This wasn't one of them. It wasn't a high budget film, but the acting was pretty good and the plot kept me interested.

This is social media/stalker/psycho horror movie with solid performances. Keiynan Lonsdale is charming and relatable as Garrett, the rising YouTube sensation. Ema Horvath is captivating as Shell, the fan who loves just a little too much. I kept waiting for her wide-eyed craziness to come off as heavy handed or ridiculous, but she managed to play it pitch perfect.

Some of the dialog was sort of dumb, but overall this was a fun to watch, well-paced movie with good performances and a neat twist at the end. It's not groundbreaking or amazing but it definitely entertains.

so be warned, there might be sort of spoilers concerning the characters in the movie. why? because i don't really know how to sum up the things happening, without mentioning key elements of the story-line. so well, Garrett is a young social media star on the rise, with his two coworkers Lyle and Kiki, he produces a successful YouTube show that got a soaring number of subscribers and hardcore fans as well. some of those are more twisted than others, while you come to judge some characters loyalty way before Garrett is faced with the realities. i was positively surprised by the story development, there were some interesting takes and twists on the almost classic "Stalker" theme. If you got movie time at hand and have no other pressing film that you feel you must see, this one here is a fine choice if you like suspense and thrills, with a bit of teen horror and a modern take on it. go watch it and then decide for yourself
