The movie could've been good because the theme was good but the acting was so terrible!

There were five reviews posted prior to mine... all by the same 'critic', all with the same fake 'rating' and all with the same fake drooling love. I down-voted them all!

This latest entry into the already saturated Christian nonsense niche is just terrible.

Out of work fireman becomes a drunk while people around him get sick and die. Eventually (and only as the very last resort) He looks to a higher power to solve all his woes.

If this is your idea of entertainment, then go for it. Normal people will find this a morbidly repellent film with the redeeming qualities of the devil's own backside!

First, anyone giving this 9 or 10 stars, just ignore their review - they've either got a brain tumor or it's a fake review. There is no way anyone could honestly give this film a high rating. The best actors are the children. The doctor talks rubbish, when asked how girl got cancer he responds "as with any form of cancer, it's unknown" and the main actors are wooden to the point that they seem bored with their own poor acting. Mostly the film is superficial in the dialogue and execution. The story itself is actually quite touching, and yes I like a feel good Christian movie. Because the theme is quite sad and story concept is ok, the film redeems itself from being 1 star. However the acting just grinds away at you making the whole thing difficult to get involved in.

As a lover of Christian films, I wanted this to be a winner. It absolutely is not! The acting is poor. It's difficult to follow. And (spoiler alert) after losing his wife and daughter, he has a tantrum, gets in a car accident and still goes to heaven having never restored his relationship with Christ! Just being honest.... it wasn't a good movie. Perhaps the next one he makes will be a winner!! :-)

If you are looking for a sad hopeless movie this is the one for you. Everything in his life went terribly wrong. He loses his wife after she gives birth to their daughter. The daughter is about 5 or six and she is diagnosed with leukemia no happy moment after that nothing but gloom. She stays unconscious then of course she dies. But before that he loses his job. Just so much turmoil. If I had known that this movie was never going to have a happy moment I would have never watched it. I kept thinking it was going to get better, but it only got worse. If you want to be sad watch this movie.

It was nice to see Aaron with such a work. This movie is a must watch. The hardwork of team and cast can be completely seen.

Yet another in the tepid list of god redemption movies pouring out during this far right, tea party-infested period that's driven by the billion-dollar media controlled by fearmongering subhumans, manipulating the borderline intelligent sheeple masses like a donkey following a carrot of a cliff. Lame, predictable story that includes such awful events that dim viewers won't accuse the guy of being a weak spirited loser and get all sappy warm inside with the 'redemption' cowards run back to jeebus.
