Trailers "Corbin Nash (2018)"

Corbin Nash was shot over a 15 day grueling period, mainly consisting of troublesome night shoots.

Corey Feldman chose to stay in character for the entire duration of the shoot, cast and crew alike having to refer to him as "Queeny". He completely embodied the persona, never once breaking character on set.

Ohh my this was really bad. And not in a good way, but in the "I feel really sorry for these guys" cringe worthy kind of way.

I am not sure if it supposed to be a pilot for a possible tv show or what the deal was but as a standalone movie this does not work at all.

Maybe if they had a decent editor there might have been some sort of coherence to the story, but as it stands its a mess. Guess its supposed to be an origin story? The byline here at IMDB that describes the movie is the ending. Getting there is confusing and NOT AT ALL scary in the very least bit.

The main antagonist, Cory Feldman, as a cross dressing bloodthirsty john was probably supposed to be scary (?) but comes across as a sad sack of you know what. Its a spoof on Buffalo Bill from silence of the lambs, but where he came across as disturbed in a disconcerting manner, Feldman's Bill just feels sad. You simply cant help feeling sorry for him and his mediocre personage. Is this really the best they could do for a bad guy?

Ohhh yes there is another guy in the shadows somewhere but I guess they saved him for the series.

To summarize, its not scary. Its incoherent and its all been done and seen before, the main protagonist is as forgettable as they come and the main antagonist is sad and embarrassing.

I really wanted to like this.. But its just not worth seeing. The poster is OK though.

Not even Corey and his band of merry 'Angels' creating multiple accounts to increase the overall score, can prevent this one sinking to the depths of Razzie award territory.

There is absolutely no originality in this movie what-so-ever, so i can't understand why the 10 star reviews are rating it as some kind of original 'cult classic' ?? *sarcasm*

Cinematography and art design is good, but it's totally wasted in a complete mish mash blade knockoff / buffalo bill wannabe story and script. Seriously, I kid you not, the final scene is an EXACT rip off from Blade.

It's hard to judge the acting, because the script is so cringe worthy! eg 'I'm gonna kill em all' - 'This is a city of sinners' *BLEURGH* The only decent stand out performance for me was the latino girl. At the other end of the spectrum was Feldman, it was as if the director said ' Ok Corey, I want you to offend every transvestite in America, show me what you got '

Thankfully saw this on a pirated dvd n was able to fast forward some utterly boring scenes. Got enticed into seeing this awful film due to some misleading fake reviews n the trailer. What kinda vampire organizes ring fights? The ring fights were boring too. Our lead actor is bitten by hordes of vampires but i dont kno how n why he is healed miraculously n nursed by a stripper. Malcolm McDowell n Rutger Hauer is totally wasted. They must b bankrupt to take part in this awful film. Ther is no tension, ther is nothing scary in this film, the editing is awfully bad n the best was the ending man. The cross dresser vampire tells the other vampire to take revenge n kill the lead guy. I expected some showdown but hohoho.

The movie is low budget, the writing is shoddy and the acting is okay. It's nothing special. I tried very hard to watch this movie. I read the reviews that were very positive and took a chance on it and really regretted my decision to watch it.

It has a lot of promise, the sound effects were spot on, the B roll was excellent but the movie really disappoints in the A roll, the acting and the editing. I became really frustrated with the way the A roll was shot for this movie. In the first 10 minutes of the movie they don't consider framing to be important, so things that need to be wide angled are shot closely and things that are shot closely are wide angled. It makes no artistic or functional sense.

There's a dialogue scene in the first 10 minutes where the main character is speaking to another influential character and the acting is just....poor. There is no tension, there is no real emotion being shown, it's like they told the main actor to act conflicted and he took that to mean act as if he was constipated! The line delivery in that conversation was so poor, the timing so bad, I wonder if the person who cast these roles even cared!

Then there's the editing. Oh God, the editing. In that same conversation they switch the A roll (primary shots) between the two characters for every line they speak. For roughly 3 minutes you have the camera going right-left, left-right, back and forth for every....single....line of dialogue, without any transition, it's almost all straight cuts. They do use L and J cuts but sparingly. If you're epileptic and can be triggered, I'd avoid this movie at all costs.

I'll try to watch it again, because I've never felt the need to write such a negative review of a movie before. I want to be fair to the people who worked on this movie, but from my first watch, it was terrible.

There is nothing good to say about this movie. This movie is about as good as Feldman's music. Take my word & don't waste your time or you'll never get it back.

My opinion "this is bad" from an interesting first ten minutes, with what seemed potential watchability , it went down hill and is still going. I have nothing good or constructive to say about this film. The unfortunate thing is to pass an opinion you have to watch it.

From the opening Monologue(sorry Malcolm) this movie is diabolical.Shaky Camera work and a script that has the feeling like it was written at a weekend at Bernie's after party.Corey Feldmans tragic role as a Vampire is a total train wreck and his copy cat style of Silence of the lambs Buffalo bill is just a joke and is a blatant last grasp of an Ex child actor trying to clutch onto something that they use to have in the 80s trans-phobia is also a part of this flick.SO a story that has been told a thousand times in every Vampire C Movie of the last 20 Years is what is on offer...Have a beer and watch Lost Boys instead

I so wanted this to be a great movie, especially since Corey Feldman has been so proud of it to encourage his entire Feldfam via twitter to give it stellar reviews on all review sites so it will expand to other theaters. And I guess there is some gang out there called the "wolf pack" that didn't like the video. I read in one of the reviews it was a guy named Bobby Wolfe, not gonna lie, his YouTube channel does kick ass btw--more than this Corbin Nash movie and Bobby Wolfe's youtube channel is free. Back to Corey's excitement, it was contagious, maybe this was his big comeback, because let's face it, his singing does kind of...suck. But, nope, I am afraid he just isn't the actor he was as a child, his performance in this movie not only broke my heart, it made me a bit sick. While I must admit I don't have any vampire friends, I have several friends in the trans community and well, as much "method" acting Corey claimed to have practiced, I don't think it worked well for him in this role...at...all. Maybe it is time for Corey Feldman to collect one last go fund me account and raise enough to retire once and for all. Sorry Feldman I just couldn't in all honesty give your movie/performance a perfect score, why would you ask us to, you let me down with this performance. I give up Feldog completely. :(

The star rating system of IMDB will not allow a minus rating, so, i gave it one star. Undoubly, the worst movie ever made. half of it is unexplained, at all, you just sit and watch things happen on the screan, not connected to anything in the film, you do learn some few things about the devil - he is (was?) a vampire, and u can kill him with a wooden stick, etc. etc. etc. All things considered, really the worst film ever, will bore you to death.

Ok, so, being the leader of the "wolfpack" you're probably thinking I came here just to trash the movie. Not true at all! I was begged to watch it and I did, but stopped after 30 minutes. Omg. Not even on a bet would I finish this. Sorry, I won't get into details because being who I am, no one will believe I gave it a fair shot.I don't want to be considered a bully. Let's just say it's not my favorite Feldman movie.

IMDB rating really fooled me. Very poor acting, feel all actors trying extremely too hard for acting, more of a exaggerate stage play than a movie. Not a bad start, with very slow pace in the middle and a ridiculous story ending. All in all, why on earth this movie can be a 7 on IMDB?!!

Awful does not start to tell you the let down. Where in the universe do these reviewers giving 9 and 10 come from? One even wrote "best movie of the year". You got to be kidding me!

I admit, the ploy is always the same: early on upon movie release, all these people show up with lots and lots of standard / non sensical praises extolling the worse movies. Technically, this trick is as old as online reviews: it fortunately should not fool anybody. Well, except me this time... I saw the IMDB average 6.something rating, thought why not? and went for it.

Well, that was a mistake: this movie was like a bad dream with nothing to redeem it. A bad movie with all the ingredients: the misfits vampires, the violent weirdos, a meh! vague story, a bout of MMA, lots of blood, a tiny touch of gothic atmosphere and above all, Ladies and Gentlemen, real baaaad acting. If you have 1:35 hour to waste, here is the occasion.

It could have been written better and i cant really tell if it was supposed to seem like the actors were bad at their job. Even though it was not really great acting or even a great script i enjoyed watching the movie.

In New York, the skeptical rogue detective Corbin Nash (Dean S. Jagger) learns from a veteran cop (Rutger Hauer) and his mentor Jack (Bruce Davison) that his parents were demon hunters killed by demons. He moves to Los Angeles to investigate cases of missing persons with his partner Frank Sullivan (Chris Pardal) and they stumble upon the sadistic criminals Queeny (Corey Feldman) and Vince (Richard Wagner). Nash is abducted and tortured by the duo and other monsters and dumped on an alley considered dead. However the stripper Macy (Fernanda Romero) is guided by the mysterious Blind Prophet (Malcolm McDowell) and brings Nash home to treat him. But soon Nash dies and is reborn as a monstrous demon hunter and hunts down Queeny and Vince.

"Corbin Nash" is an action-horror film with a dark story in a gothic atmosphere. The demons are indeed sadistic vampires and the environment follows the style of "Seven", with gruesome dark locations. It is also a chance to see cameo of the veteran actors Rutger Hauer and Bruce Davison and Malcolm McDowell in an important role. Corey Feldman is unrecognizable in the role of a sadistic drag queen vampire. It is impressive the number of fake reviews in IMDB, maybe made by robots, but it is difficult to understand the motive. "Corbin Nash" is neither a masterpiece nor an art film, but the horror and action are quite attractive and entertaining for true fans of the genre. My vote is seven.

Rebecca: "This party is so bad it's almost good." Enid: "It's so bad it's gone past good and back to bad again."

This was never even remotely close to good and if there's ever a chance of it being a Cult classic, it will be the opinion of a very small group of misguided individuals, with a loose grasp of what it actually takes to be honoured with that title. The plot was painfully slow, with very little background or direction. The main character was as dull as dishwater and Corey Feldman's performance was so desperate, it was extremely embarrassing to witness. Half-baked Buffalo Bill, combined with a $2 drag queen and just a pinch of wannabe delusional is not exactly award-winning, but I respect the fact that nobody wants to win awards, here. That's admirable at least. What happened to that guy? The 80's are long gone, as are his chances of ever being a decent actor again. McDowel and Hauer must have been compensated heavily for this and it's bewildering as to how they were lured into this. I watched Butcher's Block with Hauer recently and loved it. You can't win them all, I guess.

If you like poorly written, cringeworthy, badly acted moves, with no direction, that bares a very poor resemblance to films you may have seen in the past, then go for it. I have forgiven some awful movies in my time and defended some serious turkeys, but this, my friend is not worth the bother. Do your taxes, cut your toenails, go and see that relative you hate - anything but this to pass the time. I challenge you to get to the 40 minute mark without falling asleep or turning to the person you're watching it with and not contort your face. If you do, take a shot each time one of you does and you'll be sorted (at least numb) until the end. Let's get something positive out of this.

    • and to those who gave this trash 10 stars, I hope you did something nice with the cash. Your acting ability far ought-weighs anything seen here.

I trust the imdb rating system, so I watched this based on around a 5 star rating. It is cheesy and cringe worthy. Seriously, b-rate does not even come close to describing how bad this is. There are b-rate low budget movies that turn out to be good. This movie deserves a 1 or 2 star rating, but Feldman has apparently sent twitter followers to boost the ratings. This is a corruption of a good rating system.

The movie was not good, the writing was poor. honestly this movie was not half as good as the worst lostboys movie, i think the worst one got a 4.6. like i said honest. its not the worst movie i've ever seen, but its like miles from being decent. feldman is poor, his trans-whatever vampire is just nonsense. what is wrong with him. how the producers ever got mcdowell and hauer to make cameos in this movie is beyond me. must have a slow decade.

I gave the movie more than one star because the filmmakers managed to wrangle up an interesting cast... though the more famous actors in the movie are pretty much wasted, and are at their career nadir by appearing here. Where to start with this movie? Well, I will start with my biggest complaint with the movie, being that it's almost near incoherent. There are countless plot points that are either extremely vague or simply not there at all. It plays like a three hour movie that's been chopped down by almost half that running time. And what footage we do get to see isn't exactly compelling. The movie is pretty boring for the most part, even though there are underground fighting sequences (in a vampire movie?) as well as various slaughter sequences. I admit that I almost fell asleep watching the movie because it was so confusing and dull. This is clearly one movie where a behind-the-scenes documentary would be a heck of a lot more interesting than the finished movie itself. I'd pay good money to see that documentary so I could see how just about everything about this movie went wrong.

Corbin Nash is as poor as it can be and is a home of almost every cliche you'll ever find in vampire films. First of all the screenplay is stretched far beyond the limit. The film should have gotten over a long time ago, but it keeps dragging on and on and on. One of the most yawn-inducing film of all time..... Second, writing is extremely poor and dialogues are laughably bad and unintentionally hilarious. I bet even an amateur can write better than these so-called professionals. Now, lets talk a bit about the cinematic structure of the movie. The film is told in a non-linear manner. Now, non-linear structure is good only when it serves a purpose to the story, other than that it's nothing more than a form of structural decrepitude. This film clearly misuses this technique as there was no use of non-linear structure. The film could have easily been told in linear form without even hurting a single facet of the plot. The use of music is extremely poor, as again it lacks the charm. The music is forced to give the atmosphere a gloomy look, but clearly it doesn't work. The lighting is also far from good as it never provides credibility to the scene and stoods out as a sore to the eye. Also, the use of frequent close shots is questionable as acting is totally void. Direction is the weakest link of the movie. Never for a moment, I got invested in the plot as the ambience lacked believability. The director tries to force too many things at a single time in the name of mood building, but everything falls flat. Acting is weak, music is poor, writing is feeble and editing is effete. The film is full of cringy moments which sometimes entertained me due to its unintentionally funny nature. The film takes forever to come to a resolution. Even though such films demand certain level of disbelief in reality, many scenes lacks logic and feel out of sync.

All in all, a complete waste of time! Never ever try to see this movie, not unless someone is willing to pay you for watching this shit.

If you want to be an actor, watch this movie because it shows what you exactly must not do in acting performance.

Cory Feldman, Rutger Hauer and Malcolm Mcdowell are great stars wasted on this piece of scum.

The rest of the cast are awful bad, they didn´t show the minimum effort to take this flick into a higher level.

Corbin Nash or Hulk? I think his Hulk because is always screaming like him does. Watching his scenes is like this: -" I´m Corbin NashI am very pissed off and I scream like a mad wrestler."

The plot: Two mean vampires are trying to control the world- funny because those two never leave the town. They capture a stripper girl to lure Corbin and kill him because CN came from a vampire hunter blood line. But he is a mortal, only as a vampire can fight the mighty forces of the evil Queeny and his vampire lover. Mister Mcdowell plays the role of a blind man who can see the future. The script is horribly poor. The production is low budget look alike. The movie is quite laughable. Don´t miss it,you can gig for a while.

I like films that try and do things differently and this tried hard and almost made it.

Loved the music and contrary to other reviews I thought Corey Feldman made the movie from his intro Silence Of The Lambs ripoff to his Brides Of Dracula castle'esque mansion setting he made the movie for me!

The movie has some bizarre filming techniques and the action is pretty brutal and bloody with plenty to satisfy the gorehounds but it was just the Blade series in combo with Dracula, Demons, The Devil , Trannies bizarreness of it all that made this one stand out for me. Apart from the fact I have a soft spot for poor old Rutger Hauer who never went anywhere after his magnificent performances on Bladerunner and the Hitcher and of course The one and only Malcolm McDowell! What is not to love about that combo!

The last time I saw a movie really push the vampire genre was 30 Days Of Night and whilst this will never match that masterpiece it is anice little venture into different vampiric terror-tory for me!

So no I am not one of the 1/10 (which means its the worst film you have ever seen) brigade - we have movies like The Bad Batch for that, give this one a try you might just find it interesting.
