Stacy and Eric's marriage is falling apart. It becomes too much for them to take, so the couple decides to sneak around and cheat on each other. They both try their hand with internet chatting and, unknowingly to them, meet up and fall in love with each other all over again.

Nicole Gray was also in the Marital Relief Commercial along side Eric Nigma. The two also shot a Mynnye Chocolate Commercial as well that was supposed to be part of the movie, but was essentially cut. The Commercial is still used for the actual Mynnye Chocolates business today.

The Marital Relief Site was actually set up as a real site at one point to promote the movie. Pictures of the directors family and friends were used for the site. Several people actually signed up for the site believing it was a real dating site. The site can still be viewed on Enigmakidd's website.

Model Cherish Brown AKA Wifey Material's picture was the one used by Stacy as her Marital relief profile picture.

A deleted scene shows why Tamera despises Victor so much. In the scene, she tells Stacy that when she went on a date with Victor, he vomited on her, and couldn't pay for the meal or gas to actually get to the restaurant.

The scene where Eric and Victor are speaking in Eric's kitchen was actually supposed to be shot in the back yard over a BBQ Grill. The grill was supposed to explode as Eric and Victor struggle to put out the fire. While this was going on, Tamera and Stacy are having their discussion at the kitchen table. Tamera notices the commotion outside but ignores it as she and Stacy continue their conversation. The fire scene would have been too distracting, and thus was dropped.
