Mac pulls out the big guns to protect the sanctity of marriage, while the rest of the gang reap the rewards of marital bliss.

Katlin Olson and Rob McElhenenney are married in real life with two children. However in the episode Dee says "I won't marry you," and Mac says "I'd rather get shot in the face."

At the end of the episode Dennis tells Maureen that he has some great movies and references the Lethal Weapon 5 movie that he made with the gang which appears later on in the season in "Dee Reynolds: Shaping America's Youth".

This episode marks the first appearance of The Ponderosa siblings, Maureen and Bill.

Dennis' gym membership card that Mac uses at the beginning of the episode says: Philly Fitness, "Kicking Your Butt Since 1987", and "We sculpt you into a human work of art!"
