Barely glimpsed Aussie title. Had very limited theatrical release in Australia and indeed was marginally more successful on its European exposure. I actually saw this film in London, one (lost) evening in an all-night West-End movie theater. Those, one frequents after one is a few tequila's short of being fully onside!

Chris "never to really make it" Waters plays an expatriate Aussie writer summoned back to Oz unexpectedly following a stint in London plying his trade. Life back in the "Old Dart" has made him a changed man and his re-integration with his old culture is not without its problems. He finds himself a displaced person and relationships, such as that with Miss Gibbs, are strained to say the least.

Offering no great insights, AUSSIFIED merely reiterates the cultural shock eternally present between Oz and its barely countenanced "Mother Land."
