Nine sports agents compete to be selected as NFL Certified Contract Advisor for USC All American defensive lineman Shaun Cody in the 2005 NFL Draft. One agent will be eliminated in each episode as they fail to make it through the tasks assigned them to Cody's satisfaction. NFL great Tony Gonzalez serves as the show's host and Cody's mentor through the process. Each week Cody assigns the group a task, observes how the agents perform and based on what he sees determines who he will eliminate. During episode four, Charity Work, Gonzalez has to go to Hawaii because of the NFL's Pro bowl and is replaced by NFL defensive end Simeon Rice as the episodes guest host. - In a twist, when the final three agents are selected a new big time agent is brought into the cast looking for a last minute steal of the client. In the final two episodes the new agent battles with the remaining finalist in a drastic attempt to land Cody and the multi-million dollar contract he will earn in the NFL.
