This workpiece is focused to diaspora culture by which I have made an observation of the daily life of Isan Thai laborers who migrated from their rural to city. And I chose to present their special identity of Moh-Lam-Sing where often came by a caravan to present their performance in various places in the country. I would like to study how Isan Thai laborers negotiate their identity to public under such Bangkok-centered Thai cultural hegemony in the globalizing world. In the 'Liminal Zone', I have tried to present how temporal space as Moh-Lam-Sing parallel to liminal spaces that well matched to negotiate for its power and culture, including temporary exchange of roles of people which is open to multiple possibilities.
