Commercial agent Lana Marshall comes into the bar with her latest client, a handsome but dim Czech hockey player. She specializes in professional male athletes, both in a professional representation sense and personal sense, as she sleeps with her clients. Once Carla tells her that Sam was once a professional athlete, Lana sets her sights on him. Flattered, Sam agrees to become her next client and bed-partner as he's searching for the spotlight, something that's been missing in his life since he quit baseball. After a while, he's happy with his new acting career, but unhappy that he feels that he is expected to perform for Lana between the sheets on command. Diane and Coach, using slightly different tactics, try to convince Sam that the loss of his self-esteem is not worth the acting career. Sam admits his decision and Lana's subsequent action is a bittersweet moment in this phase of his life.
