It has been over two decades since Mary Ann Morgan and Jud Garvey last touched. College classmates, they found love within an academic cocoon. Then Jud dropped out of school to pursue a career as a singer. And Mary Ann found the one thing she always wanted: a husband on the fast track. Unfortunately, Jud's flight to fame and fortune stalled after one hit record and Mary Ann's fairy tale existence wilted almost as fast as her bridal bouquet. Both would ultimately become prisoners of their dreams: Jud touring in a musical revival show and Mary Ann locked away in a loveless marriage.
