Jal Rorda, Audric's loyal friend, is tricked and captured by Saw Boss where the evil scientist, Dr. Zorg, is zapping him with the mindsifter to discover Audric's whereabouts. Jayce defies Saw Boss and goes to the planet Nar to rescue Jal Gorda whose mind has been wiped clean. With some magic and computer alterations, Gillian restores Jal Gorda's memory while Jayce fights Monster Minds. Saw Boss puts his headquarters down on top of the Pride, but Jal Gorda slips aboard the ship and activates a self-destruct mechanism that scares Saw Boss off. It is all a bluff, however, and the Lightning League takes off once again in search of Audric.
