An indie rock band struggles to satisfy their greedy record label and lives in a recording studio as unwilling stars of a reality television show. The Fireturtles are a band of five dear friends who just finished a grueling international tour and are writing their sophomore album. They feel jammed up when their corporate record label forces them to be filmed 24 hours a day and "sell out" in other embarrassing ways. They rebel by finding inspiration in obscure and outrageous indie bands from the past. They are like a family. Brett Brett does his best to lead the band but often dissolves into fits of tears.
