A lonely heart makes loves to his kindred spirit, expressing his undying heartfelt emotions to the one soul mate who has been there at his side through everything, been there for him when he needed someone to comfort him, been there in the cold and lonesome nights: his pillow.

The short film was inspired by the Italian exploitation film Bestialità (1976) in which a woman makes love to a dog. Philip Brocklehurst decided to take the outrageous concept and change it to a man making love to a pillow, taking the term pillow talking to a new level.

Martin Del Carpio's favorite short film by Philip Brocklehurst, and the reason why he asked Brocklehurst to make Baton Rouge (2016).

While the concept was planned out, all of the dialogue spoken was improvised on the spur of the moment as Philip Brocklehurst went with the flow of the film.
