Car Pool Poker synopsis A silver utility vehicle stops in a quiet inner city back street, the driver and leader is Charlie ( Paul Barber) an ex military vet and he's accompanied by three of his comrades, Ray (Joe Mcgann) Sam and Lenny. Charlie's accepted a lucrative but highly suspect contract, and to make matters worse he's arrived early, which is a major problem, because Ray and the others consider it to be a sign of bad luck. Charlie tries to placate them, but the old boys are not having any of it, they start to eat, smoke and joke about and the final straw is Ray pulling out a pack of cards. Charlie loses his cool and reminds them of their recent sloppiness, especially Sam. To make matters worse, Lenny drops another bombshell, they've just about had enough of working for him. Charlie has only one option left to make sure they all complete the job.
