Short summary
Yotaro aspires to a career in the Rakugo, a traditional Japanese performing art of theatre storytelling. But his apprenticeship to the rakugo master Kikuhiko is difficult, especially when he starts to get involved in Kikuhiko's personal life.
Masaki Okada and voice actor Akira Ishida share the same role (Yakumo Yurakutei in the Showa Genroku Rakugo live-action and anime series) for the second time, after both having portrayed Kotaro Katsura in the Gintama films and anime.
The show has a rakugo master, Kyotarou Yanagiya, serving to supervise the rakugo routines in the show.
