The teaser of the film was released on April 28th 2017 along with the release of Block-Buster film Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

The first look of Saaho was noted as being similar to the poster of Blade Runner 2049. Many fans and followers criticized the poster for the perceived plagiarism.
