Earth is hit by a deadly virus. A man has fled from home, to a cabin far out in the woods, after, in a desperate attempt to save himself and his wife from becoming infected, taking the life of his infected daughter. He tries to live a normal life, but painful memories and guilt haunt him. At the cabin, he finds indications that something is wrong. The man is finally forced to face the consequences of his actions

The blood in the movie consisted of syrup, flour, cocoa powder and various food coloring.

To save time, the crew stayed overnight in the cabin for two days.

Without electricity in the cabin, nighttime was especially cold.

Shooting lasted 3 days.

To keep the sunlight out from the hallway-shot, the windows were covered with garbage bags and paper bags.
