Short summary

Voted "San Diego's Funniest Person," Dallas McLaughlin hosts Film Indiego, which takes an inside look at the growing film industry right here in America's finest city. On the season finale, McLaughlin meets up with the filmmakers and actors that took home top honors during last year's San Diego Film Awards in feature film and short film categories. McLaughlin visits the Olympic Training Center with Jamie Nieto, Olympic level athlete, producer, writer and lead actor in Blood Brothers - winner of best short film at the 2015 San Diego Film Awards. From there, McLaughlin heads to El Cajon's Main Street to learn about San Diego's large Chaldean population and find out about the inspiration behind their feature documentary, Chaldean Voices. Mclaughlin finally steps into the 80s with Eternity the Movie and learns what it takes to make a feature film locally with Los Angeles-based talent and then unwinds at the drive-in theater.
