This episode of "Kraft Suspense Theatre" is a bit unusual because it stars a husband-wife duo, John Cassavetes and Gena Rowlands who were married during the filming of this episode.

The show begins with Lois Baxter (Rowlands) singing in a night club. Behind the scenes, her agent, Ozzie (Jack Klugman) is a nervous wreck--waiting for some phone call from Omaha. A bit later, after hours, Ozzie finds a young lady waiting--hoping to see Rowlands. After the commercial break, this lady is dead...and Ozzie's accused of killing her. What happened? The audience isn't sure. Lois is sure he's innocent of hurting the girl but the community is sure he did it. A lawyer, Peter Chandler (Cassavetes) is asked to take the case...and he's not at all anxious to take it.

There are MANY problems with this episode. Not making it clear whether Ozzie did anything wrong or not was fine...but to never really clarify this ever was a mistake. Additionally, several times key parts of the show seemed missing--such as the verdict!! Strangely disjoint and unsatisfying. It was so much so that I actually re-watched a few scenes--just to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
