Short summary

The team thought they had dealt with Conor Devlin's IRA gangster band, but even from jail he manages to coordinate bloody, indirect revenge on the team members by cowardly slaying their loved ones, such as McQuigg's sister Jessie and even Owen's daughter, a federal agent. The team hastily assembles surviving loves ones, like Harry's rebel sister Maisie, who must now be revealed their secret job, to hide out in Shelby's remote, virtually fortified family country estate. Of course the enemy finds them, and makes use of Shelby's 'trusted' neighbor Ben Hardington as Trojan horse.

Tracy Ifeachor as Lydia is seen in the reprise but afterwards when it was revealed that Lydia was killed her face was conspicuously hidden on-screen, Undoubtedly Ifeachor wasn't ask to reprise Lydia just to play her when she got killed and as a corpse.

As usual with this show, the writers are so far offbase, it is like they have never watched any show about law or military personnel. In this episode, the team holes up in a mansion to defend against trained assassins coming to kill their family members and them. They have a "state of the art" security system, yet there is no infrared cameras or night vision cameras to observe the grounds from a night attack. The members of this elite team go into the dark with only their naked eyeballs to search for intruders. They seem to be only armed with their personal sidearms and nothing else. During this state of high alert due to the danger, there are no backup officers and there are loads of stupid actions. The 4 stars are for the rest of the work involved. The writing shows almost zero research in how a trained group would actually defend in such a situation.

Conor Devlin is not taking the death of his son lying down. Even from his jail cell, he plots revenge.

Devlin order the death of Owen's daughter and Mike's sister. Knowing that other members of the team have families now at risk, they are sent to a safe house, Shelby's family mansion.

The trouble is that Alex has a fractious reunion with her mother, not happy she is a target thanks to her daughter going back to the FBI.

Harry's sister who just happened to have moved to the USA, she did not know that Harry worked in law enforcement. Given her accent, I would be demanding a DNA test if I was Harry.

It is not long before some strangers are seen prowling and the safe house is really not so safe.

It does make you wonder why all of them were shacked up in one place and not split up. Also why no one else for the FBI were assigned to guard them all. It looked like the orders were your family, you are responsible for them all.

There is some tense action when the team are in danger but the writing was a bit silly. The prime example was Mike telling Devlin: 'just give me a reason.....' Hold on he just had your sister killed; you need more reasons!
