The Library of Congress collection consists of 304 minutes of color footage; 54 minutes of silent black-and-white footage; 32 minutes of sound interviews of Dachau survivors; "D-Day to D + 1", a 33-minute, edited and narrated documentary presented by the "SHAEF (Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force) Public Relations Division".

Added to the Library of Congress' National Film Registry in 2008.
