Director Nico Mastorakis is on hand for this twenty-seven minute interview where he discusses his 1990 action film HIRED TO KILL. If you're a fan of that film then you'll certainly want to check this out as there are some terrific stories told here about the production. Mastorakis starts off talking about how the film ended up getting made and then we get to the biggest and most interesting things, which is of course the casting of three legends in George Kennedy, Jose Ferrer and Oliver Reed. There are some great stories told about how great Kennedy and Ferrer are but then we've got Reed. Mastorakis talks about how no producer wanted to work with Reed but they gave him a chance and sure enough his alcohol problem led to issues on the set. There are some rather funny and embarrassing stories told about the legendary actor that his fans should enjoy. Finally, the director openly talks about the stunts that went horribly wrong, which led to the death of a stuntman. If you're a fan of the director then you'll really love this piece as it has some terrific and detailed stories throughout.
