Short summary

Franklin Wunder feels alone in the world. When a near death experience reminds him that he is running out of time, he journeys back toward the lake where he grew up. Along the way he befriends a young woman who is equally alone. Together they change each others lives, and in little ways, the lives of those around them.

Excellent movie about love, life, family, friendship and death. Franklin Wonder is reminiscent of the story telling of Forest Gump. While the movie takes place in the span of a few hours in one day, it is a subtly epic story of one mans life that most people will easily identify with. The life long romance of Franklin and his departed wife will surely move anyone who believes in eternal love. As well will his unassuming humble nature that teaches his new found "friend" a thing or two about compassion, life and love. I also really liked it because the characters were real people you could easily identify with. The casting was superb, Dick McMahon and Briana Ratterman were phenomenal. I wish they were in more movies. I will look forward to seeing them again on the big screen. Well done. I can't wait for it to be released on DVD.
