So many of these shows involve "young" people on the way up, often ready to marry. The main character and his betrothed are necking on hill when they spot a flying saucer. This guy is supposed to be an up and coming reporter. He's about forty-five years old. Also, while up there, they are approached by a strange man who says he needs a ride back to town; his car has broken down. Anyway, the young woman has a father who is a noted astronomer. They go to see him and a big angry to do takes place. The "young" man is embarrassed and sets out to prove the old man wrong. He makes a documentary, enlisting a series of flying saucer observers. It, of course, proves nothing and he is embarrassed a second time. Plus, he has wasted nearly 300 dollars making the film. There is a kicker, of course, and that's what makes us think at the end. I remember the ending from when I was a kid in the fifties. It had a lot more impact then.
