Jerry Singleton finds single life a blessing, but not profitable, as his mother has left a will providing that he is to be married and must have a family by April 10th, 1912, before he could receive the balance of her fortune. Jerry, who is living comfortably on what he has previously received, forgot about the condition of the will, until he receives a letter from his uncle, calling his attention to the fact, and further saying that he will call on him, to give him the balance of the fortune, and that he is also anxious to see the wife and family. Jerry being a bachelor, finds it necessary to have a wife and baby quick. He appeals to the butler to get him a wife and baby, but the butler refuses.
