What a rather good surprise this short, maybe too short, story of two men walking on a cliff edge when, suddenly, one of them falls down on the beach, among the rocks. Then his mate gets for rescue. The very beginning reminded me John Sturges's JEOPARDY, but only the basic line, not the following events of the story itself. You have here no criminal element. It could have been a RESCUE 8 series episode. The only drawback in this story is that is too much predictable, I would say a little so so. Only the coming tide adds a little suspense, but after all that's pretty enough to stick the audience to this episode directed by the Hollywood vet Erle C Kenton. One of his latest stuff of his whole career: for big and small screen.
