Short summary
Over the span of several weeks, two couples, who have been close friends for years, face several life-altering traumas out of their control.
Over the span of several weeks, two couples, who have been close friends for years, face several life-altering traumas out of their control. Mike and Meryl are recovering from their son's death and their inability to communicate. Joanna and Tim are trying to conceive their first child, after several failed attempts. In the course of the film the couples contrast one another, quickly developing an intimate study of human nature.

After its lengthy copyright infringement legal dispute with one of the film's performers, delaying the film's release, the film was released quite quickly on Vimeo On Demand and DVD services in August 2014. Nearly a year later, it was finally entered into a new run of film festivals and awards events. Its first 'official selection' was for Montreal Cinefest in 2015.
