For the past fifty days, Palilla (Lyne Tremblay) has sat at her comatose husband's bedside, waiting for him to return to her. Resolute in spirit, Palilla refuses to believe the doctors who tell her Paul's time has come. Each day, Palilla brings a new creative way to revive Paul from his comatose state. This particular day, she sings to him, magically transporting them back to the cabaret, the place where they first met. In true cabaret spirit, the audience becomes part of the show. Each in their own way, attempts to revive Paul, by stimulating his senses, reminding him of some of the finer things in life.
