Short summary
Red's opening monologue contains several jokes about the famous LA smog. The sketch, titled "Chicago Red in Las Vegas", exhibits the confusion caused when Red's double, hoodlum Chicago Red, and Skelton, on vacation, both book into the Golden Money Hotel. The Redettes begin with a production number to "Luck Be a Lady." Guest vocalist Lillian Roth, performing at the hotel/casino, is confounded by the differences between the lovable Red Skelton and the nasty Chicago Red. Also featured are a Sultan with his four wives and Oscar, a diminutive gambler who cannot ever win. Lillian performs to "I'm in Love With You, Honey." By intimidation, Chicago Red, with assistance from his two henchmen, breaks the bank at the casino, fires the manager and emcee, and tries to win over Lillian. Oscar finally wins back all the money and gains the four wives of the Sultan. Now that Chicago Red is broke, his henchmen desert him and all ends well.
