Catalina becomes enticed by a plant whom she believes is instructing her to kill an already dying rose. In the process, Catalina slowly begins to morph into the plant world.

The script had to be rewritten once it was learned the greenhouse the short film was filmed didn't have any plants.

The main actress had to stand on a skateboard to appear flying towards the plants.

When Catalina is watered like a plant there was a PA with a sponge pressing on the actress' forehead.
